Summer Backpack Program
Need help providing lunch for your children during summer vacation? The Juniata County Food Pantry is proud to sponsor the Summer Backpack Program.
If your children completed a grade level, kindergarden through 8th grade, in Juniata County this year, you may be eligible to participate.
Call the Food Pantry after May 25th for an appointment to register your children at 717-436-9718. Read more about the Summer Backpack Program.
Farmers Market Nutrition Program
The Mifflin-Juniata Area Agency on Aging, Inc., in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, is again offering the Farmers Market Nutrition Program to older adults.
Vouchers can be used for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables (grown in Pennsylvania!) at participating markets.
Voucher distribution will be on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at several locations.
