In order to have plans reviewed by the Planning Commission, at least one complete plan must be submitted to the planning office on the second (2nd) Monday of the month. However, if the Monday the plans would normally be due falls on an observed County Holiday, the plans will be due the Friday of the prior week. Also, if the second Monday should fall on the day before the Planning Commission meeting, the plans will be due the prior week's Monday. A county planning office staff member will be available on the day the plans are due to go over submitted plans.
At least four (4) plans must be available for the Planning Commission meeting, one of which is to remain in the possession of the Planning Commission to file. Attendance to the monthly Planning Commission meeting by the surveyor or engineer that submitted the plan is encouraged.
Effective July 1, 2009, a completed Subdivision and Land Development Application must accompany each plan submitted to the Juniata County Planning Office for planning commission review. An electronic copy suitable for computer use is available by contacting the Planning Office.
Effective January 1, 2010, the fee schedule will go into effect and the fee must be submitted with the plan application.
